About this image

It looks like a small blue star but the inset circled area shows the faint planetary nebula Pease 1 (I think!) discovered in 1928 by Francis Pease.

This colour image also shows the prolific “blue straggler” stars formed from collisions of the older ones. M15 is well placed at present on the western side of Pegasus best seen in binoculars at midnight.
