About this image

Latest image of Gyulbudaghian's variable nebula to continue building a long term, monthly record of its behaviour.  This time I used iTelescope T21 in New Mexico as skies in Suffolk are far from ideal at the moment. And it's better than I could achieve with my telescope anyway!

The nebula has grown slightly since my last image from home on 19th August.

Field is ~ 15 x 15 arc minutes with north up.

Location of nebula:  RA 20:45:56, Dec. +67:57:44.

Updated 10th September 2021:  Image now combines data from 3 consecutive nights observations (7th, 8th and 9th) to give a total of 15 x 180 second exposures.
