About this image

Captured across the 6th & 7th September, the Cocoon Nebula is a stellar nursery, reflection and emission nebula.

I deliberately framed this nebula in the South East corner so as to allow me to also show the dust lanes situated to the West in the field of view. To me it looks as if the nebular has just ‘rolled’ down into the corner.
