About this image

Two brightish (around mag 17-18) novae in M31 at the moment discovered by XOSS on September 11.6 (AT2021ypo and AT2021ypn). Here is a blink of my patrol images from the mornings of September 10 and September 16. Can you spot them?

It helps to download the GIF and do the checking full screen. There is also a third fading nova (2021vgi) below centre. You can also see Hubble's first Cepheid (V1) flashing on an off in the lower right.
