EPHEMERIS FOR 102224 RAFFAELLOLENA

From Rome , asteroid 102224 Raffaellolena (named to me) is visible in the morning sky, becoming accessible around 22:04, when it reaches an altitude of 21° above your eastern horizon. It will then reach its highest point in the sky at 02:36, 56° above your southern horizon. It will be lost to dawn twilight around 06:02, 33° above your western horizon. See FOR INFO

It will then reach its highest point in the sky at 02:25, 47° above your southern horizon. It will be lost to dawn twilight around 05:43, 30° above your south-western horizon.

Well done on getting an asteroid named for you.
I was able to obtain some images of "your" asteroid with my 40cm Newtonian reflector. It was not a very good night, but I wanted to get something for you. I used 60 sec exposures with out a filter. The asteroid can be seen on the image. However I stacked 17 images and it is easier to identify. The asteroid also "blinks" nicely over 30 images The I have posted images on the forum and my BAA observers page.
