About this image

Two more pictures taken with the uncooled Lodestar camera. Taking 30s exposures guaranteed that no frames were thrown away so I got to 120 images quite quickly. On the left M101 and on the right, a low surface brightness local group galaxy, the Pegasus Dwarf.

In a single frame the 14th mag Pegasus dwarf was not actually visible and it was only by stacking 120 and choosing a mag 21.1 night that I got such a good result. As always I was fighting the rubbish plastic focuser which does not allow SXM-7 cooled camera to focus and is the wrong size for the 2" Trius 694.

Will try a KBO or the Pisces local group galaxy next I think.
