Title

Sh2-157 in Cassiopeia bicolor

About this image

Sh2-157 is located in the Arm of Perseus, one of the main spiral arms of the Milky Way

The nebula is located in the westernmost part of the constellation, on the border with Cepheus; the region in which it is found can be identified in the middle of the line joining the stars Caph (β Cassiopeiae) and ζ Cephei

The background is very rich in star fields, in which the open cluster NGC 7510 stands out.
