About this image

Using the one-shot colour QHY268C CMOS camera, the image consists of 6 hours of 5 minute exposures using an Astronomik L filter and 2.67 hours of narrowband using the Optolong L-eXtreme filter from which the H-Alpha signal was extracted. All processing was performed in PixInsight. All images were calibrated with Darks, Flats and Flat-Darks. The Ha data was combined with the red channel to enhance the wonderful nebulae within the spiral arms of M33. The image is cropped by about a quarter.
