About this image

The Moon was rising in the north-east and at only 9 degrees altitude at greatest eclipse at 09hrs 03min UT, only one minute earlier. In this image the brighter members of the Pleiades are visible five degrees to the lower left of the Moon, which is rising over Moreton Bay. The view was obscured by trees from my observatory. This image is from the kitchen patio.
