Title

DART spacecraft and Falcon 9 upper stage

About this image

The DART spacecraft was launched on a Falcon 9 from Vandenburg on November 24 at 06:21 UTC. It is on its way to impact 65803 Didymos. This image was taken as it moved away from the Earth tonight. The two objects are the spacecraft and the Falcon 9 upper stage. I'm not sure which is which. At the time this image was taken the spacecraft was around 440,000 km away.

JPL Horizons normally has ephemerides for these spacecraft.
