About this image

NGC 750: Pretty bright but much brighter in the middle. Although initially appearing round, in better moments it appeared slightly elongated and two separate nuclei were seen. This turns out to be due to the fact that two galaxies are superimposed on each other, the other being NGC 751. The apparent elongation is caused by the galaxies being slightly offset from each other.

NGC 751: Seen as an extension to NGC 750. This galaxy's nucleus was clearly seen.
