About this image

I have never imaged a comet through a Telescope before - last year I photographed Comet Neowise with my DSLR, very wide angle lens and sky tracker Pro which was fun to do and easy enough to process. However, this project has been a challenge, fun the most part :). I have been fixated on it since I was able to get data on Tuesday 7th Dec morning here in the UK. The weather was kind to me, happy days :)
I have learnt so much in the last 10 days – how to stack comets in DSS, how to Process the images in Pixinsight and then how to make layers in PS. After having processed the data countless times, I am now finally happy (ish) with the resulting images. I need to put this one to bed now so I can get fixated on some other target :)

This image is of the stacked stars and stacked comet data in the one image, layered in PS.

Processing; Deep sky stacker, Pixinsight with final tweaks in Photoshop, Lightroom + Topaz DeNoise AI.

Clear skies all.
