About this image

Each year at Solstice I attempt to record the Rising point of the Sun and in Subsequent days obtain images as it disc gradually lifts along the Ecliptic.

All very much weather provided. Also similarly with Sunsets. Luckily a gap in the Roof line of Houses to the S.E. is very close to the lowest point of rise with a convenient Columnar Tree to act as a marker. This is this mornings Sunrise. Alas Sunset was Cloudy.
