About this image

vdB15 in Camelopardalis, is a large reflection and emission nebula that is part of an even larger area of nebulosity.

This image was captured as a 2-frame mosaic on the 13th October 2021.  I had hoped to collect a lot more data, but the skies have not cleared again since.

26x600s frames captured on the 13th.  vdB15 was low in the sky at the start of the session so data was not great quality for the whole imaging time.

The bright star at the centre of the nebulosity is the variable star CE Cam at around magnitude +4.59
