Herodotus Crater and the search for a pseudo peak.

About this image

I followed a request in the Lunar Observing Schedule to image Herodotus crater between 16:21 to 21:36 to look for a pseudo peak on the floor of the crater as reported by some observers. Two images were obtained at 20:43:00 and 21:19:18. I used a quick method to obtain a single frame image from a short AVI and saved as JPEG with no processing. Upon inspection of the images, no peak could be seen and the result reported to Tony Cook (Lunar Change project coordinator)
