About this image

This is a second image of the Orion Nebula produced by adding a set of 300s exposures to the image of the Trapezium core. Again, I have tried to preserve the detail in the Trapezium whilst adding the very stretched image of the quite faint outer regions.

I confess I've had a bit of fun with this image and have used various software tools to accentuate the colour contrast between the reflection and emission nebulae and have not used any sharpening tools as such. So I've deliberately tried to inject some dynamism but to not overdo it.
