About this image

Comet of the month - Twitter request for observations.

116P/Wild (also known as Wild 4) is a 12.6 magnitude Comet and orbits the Sun every 6.5 years, currently 1.56 AU from Earth.

When I checked my images for the evening I noticed that I'd also picked up something very faint 'nearby' the comet in the image. PGC 26688 a spiral galaxy (Sb), magnitude +15.4, some 406 million light years from our solar system with my faithful little eVscope in my light-polluted, suburban back garden.
