About this image

NGC 4889, also Caldwell 35, is a supergiant elliptical galaxy (magnitude +11.3) in the constellation Coma Berenices. NGC 4889 is the brightest within the Coma cluster of galaxies while NGC 4874, another giant elliptical galaxy, is the second-brightest (magnitude 11.4). This cluster contains more than 1,000 galaxies and lies roughly 250 million light-years away.

My God, it's full of galaxies. (How many can you see here?)

[Bortle 5ish with dew shield, no filter & moderate seeing]
