The image is generated from 15hrs of data, 10hrs L-Pro and 5hrs L-eXtreme. L-Pro 120sec & L-eXt 300sec frames + Darks, Flats & Dark flats. Guided image.

About this image

Been learning a lot with this one – it is the first time I have combined RGB data with Ha. That is, L-Pro and L-eXt filters where I extracted the Red from the L-eXt data – all in PixInsight. So much to learn but I’m happy with my speed of progress.

The data was captured over 5 nights from 12^th Jan to 10^th Feb22.

Processing; Deep sky stacker, PixInsight with final tweaks in Photoshop + Topaz DeNoise.
