Imaging Telescopes Or Lenses Celestron RASA 11" Rowe-Ackermann Schmidt Astrograph 11" Imaging Cameras ZWO ASI2600MC Pro Mounts 10MICRON GM2000 HPS Software Pleiades Astrophoto, S.L. PinInsight 1.8 · AutoStakkert Autostackert! 3 Acquisition details Dates: May 25, 2022 Frames: 59x60" (59') Integration: 59' Avg. Moon age: 24.87 days Avg. Moon phase: 22.59% Basic astrometry details Astrometry.net job: 5808432 RA center: 05h50m50s.4 DEC center: +56°25'33? Pixel scale: 1.569 arcsec/pixel Orientation: 5.475 degrees Field radius: 1.102 degrees Find images in the same area Resolution: 3039x4044 Locations: June Lake California, USA, June Lake, CA, United States Data source: Backyard Description Comet C/2021 P4 will be coming closer to us and the sun over the next two months. It is not expected to brighten more than a magnitude or two, however we are talking about comets. Currently a northern/evening and circumpolar comet, however the image circumstances were fairly tough. I couldn't image the comet higher than 25 degrees with encounters with numerous coniferous trees and Mountain ridges interfering with the exposures. Coloration indicates a dusty envelope.
