First Jupiter Image for 2022 Apparition

About this image

First Jupiter image of the apparition and also first effort using recently acquired ADC. Seeing was a little above average (6/10) but Jupiter was still only 30° high in the pre-dawn sky. GRS is seen rising at lower right. The NEB is quite active with several semi-loop festoons arching northward and southward; the one following the CM appears to connect to a barge. Based on a recent image from Clyde Foster, that is Oval BA approaching the meridian with an AWO below and slightly trailing it. The NNTB has a condensation just about to transit the CM.
