Loop prominence forming

About this image

This image shows a loop prominence forming over just a few minutes. At the time I didn't notice it was happening otherwise I could have imaged continuously. Still a bit of luck to be there at the right time. The prominence was very bright and it was possible to get the prominence and disk in a single exposure (top part of image) which is unusual for the PST. Normally to get a prominence the disk is grossly over exposed
