About this image

M26 is an ordinary, mag 8 open cluster spotted by Charles Messier in 1764. It doesn't feature often in a gallery of astro images but it provided me with an opportunity to capture the first image with my newly acquired RC10 truss telescope.

The image is a crop from the original.
