About this image

Two large filaments are arcing across the southern Solar Hemisphere. This image is the result of stacking 300 frames from a 3000 frame AVI. The AVI was very large taking up 35GB of computer space! The original image produced was 3400 by 2600 pixels, this was then reduced by 50% to produce the detailed image here of these features along with AR13055.
