About this image

Very privileged to be able to enjoy the period of true dark in rural France at this time of the year... And although the moon prevents LRGB targets, narrowband are still available. Rendered nominally in the Hubble Palette but, to avoid overwhelming green (H-alpha) I  'stretched' the colour mapping nonlinearly in the Pixinsight Hue panel of the Curves tool. Acquired in Voyager and processed in Pixinsight.
