This loose and rather indistict open cluster (Class IV 2 m) is fairly young at millions, rather than billions of years old. It lies towards the centre of the Galaxy.

Distance c.3,510ly. Age c.141million years.

Bortle 7/8, light high cloud, Moon waxing gibbous 67%, nine days old.
