About this image

Abell 62 is a planetary nebula in Aquila. The CSPN is off-centre and explains why the brighter rim to the lower-right is a bow-shock, with the CSPN and nebula moving through and interacting with the interstellar medium.
A joint project with team-mate Sven Eklund.
