Hi David, nice image of ngc5894 and associated supernova. I am setting myself up so that i can have ago at supernova hunting I have 'scopes C14, 16" and 20" on ME and MEii I am trying out software at the moment for detection. Do you have any fits images of pre and post discovery images you could let me have to test out the software which is the main issue .

I don't have such images, sorry. I selected this target from the list on the Rochester SNimage site - I saw it was conveniently placed. I'm just getting back into astroimaging again after a period away from the scope. David
