About this image

At the end of a hazy comet observing session last night the sky was getting very bright as the Moon rose so I thought I'd have a quick look at it before parking the telescope and heading for bed. This is a single 5ms exposure taken with the same camera that a few minutes before had been taking 60s frames of comets. The seeing was very poor but this is the best single frame of 10. The original image is 9576x6388 pixels with a scale of 0.28 arcsec/pixel at the focal length of my Edge HD11 telescope.
