Imaged in monochrome

Used Astrostakkert 4 to select best 15% frames, align and stack

Loaded into Astroart 6 and converted mono to colour data format

Histogram stretch then used curves function to adjust for detail at edge and disk

Very slight unsharp mask filter.

I am very happy with this image and have produces several nice images from different observations. Converting to colour then using Astroart's curves function enables different wavelengths within the Ha passband to be shown as different colours. Given the image is showing both photosphere and chromosphere content, then I think this can be interpreted as different temperature emissions although possibly evidence of Doppler effect on the emitted light (need read up on this!)
