About this image

A friend in Canberra sent me this picture of the total eclipse yesterday and is happy for it to be used.

Apparently, there was cloud around until just before totality when it cleared and he got the chance of a photo - though all he had on him was a mobile phone running Motion Pro cam software that provided image stabilisation. 5secs is long for a hand held shot.

The worrying thing is just how much it looks like a coronavirus - spikes and all!

Cannot imagine how all the other imagers missed them. :)
