About this image

NGC7803 is a lenticular galaxy in Pegasus. It was discovered by Lewis Swift in Aug 1886. In this COAST image it can be seen with a number of fainter galaxies as part of the NGC7810 Galaxy Group. NGC7810, seen at upper right, is also a lenticular galaxy, discovered by William Herschel in November 1784.
