About this image

Wasnt really looking for this. Noticed this one when doing a bit of lazy manual cruising with my 10" Meade with a wide field eyepeice.  So fired up the imaging kit, snatched this image in the wide field APO - and then identified what I had found in the morning!

This comet is has a period of 14years and was discovered in 1927.

No visible sign of tail or colour visually. Image shows a very light green hue.

Couldnt see in binos and this fairly dim. The central coma is about Mag18 according to a rough and ready photometry check. Although the comet itself is listed online as having an integrated magnitude of the object of 15 or so.

There is a lovely small galaxy to the right hand side of the image and another top right hand. Unable to identify them easily. If anyone knows then let me know!
