Venus photographed last night about 34 minutes after sunset. The planet was about 4.4 degrees above the horizon and its azimuth was 44.4 degrees west of south (according to the Computing Section, I think!). The planet's phase is approximately 96% and its diameter is 10.4 arc seconds (handbook).
