About this image

A couple of hours of sunshine enables a few images of the ever increasing activity on our local star. Although very low even at noon.

This is in Hydrogen Alpha, on a monochrome camera although I have added a bit of colour to cheer the image up a bit

Some lovely sunspot groups here roughly paired. North is Up. Rotation Left to Right. Joy's law evident on leading and following spots.

Sadly no noticable prominences
