About this image

I wanted to have the image centre slightly further North to get more of the "tail" but Eta Gem at Mag 3.3 caused far too much blooming and rings in the optical chain.

So nudged South.

This is part of the remnant from a Supernova event thousands of years ago. About 1.5kpc distant

By playing with histogram and contrast functions, it is possible to detect filaments and structure in the image.

Although for this image i have lightly stretched using ASTAP and left at that.
