About this image

I was hoping to capture RGB images as well but a combination of dew on the optics (secondary mirror and coma corrector) and a mechanical 'event' that required telescope re-collimation caused a long enough delay that by the time I resumed imaging the object had disappeared behind an outbuilding in the garden, so I had to turn my attention to a new target. The only consolation was that field rotation was less of an issue in the short time I was capturing the luminance images, so less cropping was necessary.
