About this image

19x30s frames were combined using DeepSkyStacker (comet stacking, star trails). The resulting frame was modified in Photoshop using levels, binned x2 and then cropped slightly. The comet ion tail can be seen to extend for about a degree and seems to split into three components. I apologise for my poor image processing skills (particularly the vignetting which I did try to compensate for).
