C/2022 E3 (ZTF) on night of closest approach

About this image

Yeah.. i know..  a totally rubbish image. But it was taken through high haze and gaps in lower cloud with a bright moon adjacent. With scope aimed nearly at zenith with me fretting the camera will hit the pier !

PHD guiding was not really interested so guided manually.

Processing stacked as manually aligned on coma and each frame (from many) sorted out from the cloudy ones.

Anyway, I wanted to capture the comet on the night of the closest approach and have in my gallery of interesting things.

(updated with some darks subtracted - slightly less embarassing)
