Equipment

Sharpstar 100 QII refractor, SkyWatcher HEQ5 PRO, ZWO ASI294MC Pro, used L-Pro filter. All controlled with an ASIair Pro. Guiding on stars.

Exposure

For Comets, Subs: approx. 60sec x 50 and 120sec x 50. Integration time ~ 2.5hrs. For Stars, Subs: approx. 120sec x 50. Integration time ~ 1hr 40mins.

About this image

I imaged it on the evening of the 30^th Jan23 in a region of the sky that had a few distance galaxies visible, oh and many not visible – I do love a galaxy or two……

Processing software:

Stacking in DSS, stack for Comet then another file where I stacked for the Stars. Then PixInsight (Pixelmath tool used to merge the Comet with the Stars files) & a bit in Photoshop.
