Title

Another Colorful Swing-by for Comet C/2022 U2 (ATLAS) and IC410, 2023-02-12 After passing the Flame nebula the night before (seehttps://astrob.in/04rb75/B/), 12th magnitude comet U2 ATLAS has just passed the emission cloud IC410 - the tadpoles. The comet is surprisingly large in envelope and it has "that" greenish color to it. This is a rather deep image with well over two and a half hours of integration time. I feel like I can see a faint dust tail extending at what position angle? (Sharp eyes or hallucinations) Full resolution of this image can be found on here on ASTROBIN Observational details: Backyard setup scope: C11 RASA D = 279mm; fl =618mm; F# 2.2 camera: asi 2600mcP exposure: 108 x90 sec Seeing: 4/5 Transparency: 9/10 Observer: DEBartlett Location: June Lake, California, USA Image Info (Not the closeup which is at the same scale): WCS transformation .......
