About this image

Taken as thin cloud encroached using an old autoguider camera and a lens far wider than I intended. Really needed a 50mm or 85mm.

The comet is in there but you have to look carefully.

In retrospect, I wish I had not used the sensor binned x2 but the cloud appeared before I got a chance for any more images.

Taken on a fixed tripod using some gaffer tape to hold the camera in place.

I like your honesty!

Well, if I had tried "Fantastic mind blowing image of magnificent comet" I suspect one or two people on here might have spotted that I was fibbing.

I think Mazin and Martin could make a strong claim to taking a good pic. I was just pleased to get anything at all in the 30 mins between the Tesco's delivery and dinner.
