About this image

This is an interesting pair of galaxies. Tnhe Whale galaxy (NGC4631) is part of a pair with ghe dwarf galaxy NGC4627.  The Hockeystick galaxy (NGC4656 and 4657) is a warped barred spiral galaxy. It is thought that to be due to an interaction between NGC 4656, NGC 4631, and NGC 4627
