About this image

My first serious attempt at this well-known part of the sky, imaged across three nights (clouds stopped play on the first two) with bright moonlight. I am reasonably pleased with the result but there is obvious room for improvement.

The're nice! - what if any post processing are you doing?

Love the detail in M81

Also impressed there are no satellite trails

Thanks, Adam. Stacked in APP and processed in Lightroom and Photoshop (in part using StarXTerminator). In fact there are what I thought at first were two satellite trails through M82 which puzzled me because I had excised any obvious subs with trails: I concluded in the end that they must be some sort of diffraction artifacts, caused perhaps by the moonlight. Mostly massaged out in processing.
