About this image

I've tried before to observe cloud structure on Venus in UV and failed miserably. I may now have observed them.

The most difficult thing was finding Venus in the daytime with a (very) manual Dobsonian. Ended up placing iphone on rocker box and using the compass for azimuth. Altitude was done using a digital inclinometer attached to telescope.
