About this image

A widefield shot of M101, the Pinwheel Galaxy, containing supernova SN2023ixf. I wasn't sure I'd be able to pick the supernova up using my DSLR and 72ED scope but there it was. It was obvious even on my single test shots. I'll try to get further images as it develops.
