About this image

I have been imaging Venus regularly during the current spell of good weather. The seeing has been quite predictable in that it reaches its best around 19:30 BST and stays that way for about an hour or so. The amount of detail visible is of course dependent on the planet itself as well as the seeing and this image is one of the best I've manged. Venus remains a challenge!
