Astounding level of fine detail, Luigi. An inspirational image. What arcsecs/pixel is this and what time period is this over - I'm guessing things change pretty fast at this image scale.

thanks!

For solar imaging in white light i use a sampling of 0.11-10"/pix.

I capture several videos (for this image about 200Gb data, i have a fast PC with 68 GB RAM 2 HD SSD 2 TB) 20 seconds each with a frame rate 190-200fps. Stacked about 2-5% concerning the seeing condition.

Finally i sue also the flat frames. Almost always you can found dust on the sensor/filter
