About this image

Two new amateur discoveries (Cop 2 and Go 1) - and an earlier amateur discovery (Ou 3)

When the 2 Belgian amateur astronomers Renauld and Olivier Coppe asked me to image their discovery of a probable planetary nebula (Cop 2) I didn't realise its proximity to another planetary nebula - Ou 3. (Ou 3 is a confirmed planetary nebula discovered by French amateur astronomer Nicolas Outters in November 2009.)

The first images revealed that Ou 3 was within the field of view.
So I recentred the imaging to be between the two targets.
Subsequently a small, previously-unregistered possible planetary nebula was found in the top left hand corner of the image. This has now been submitted for registration as Go 1.
Images were captured from my remote robotic dual-rig setup in Spain.
