About this image

Two planetary nebulae in Vulpecula - both discovered by amateurs
Kronberger 43 is an irregular elongated nebula, which might be the remnant torus of a bipolar nebula whose outer lobes have faded. It was discovered by Matthias Kronberger. It is predominantly Ha with faint OIII emissions.
Pa J1940.3+1855, is an extremely faint planetary nebula with a size of approximately 1.5 arcminutes. Is predominantly OIII with very little Ha. Was discovered by the Deep Sky Hunters member Dana Patchick in October 2014.
